Job Description

The role involves designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at client sites. Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding requirements and designing software solutions.
  • Developing software by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Investigating problem areas and following the software development life cycle.
  • Facilitating root cause analysis of system issues.
  • Collaborating with functional teams or systems analysts for detailed investigation into software requirements.
  • Performing coding and ensuring optimal software/module development.
  • Developing and automating processes for software validation by setting up and designing test cases/scenarios/usage cases.
  • Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
  • Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
  • Ensuring that code is error-free and meets quality assurance parameters.
  • Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
  • Coordinating with the team on daily project status and progress.
  • Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, tracing results to quality risk, and reporting to concerned stakeholders.
