Job Description

The role involves designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at client sites. Responsibilities include:

Understanding requirements and designing software solutions.
Developing software by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
Investigating problem areas and following the software development life cycle.
Facilitating root cause analysis of system issues.
Collaborating with functional teams or systems analysts for detailed investigation into software requirements.
Performing coding and ensuring optimal software/module development.
Developing and automating processes for software validation by setting up and designing test cases/scenarios/usage cases.
Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
Ensuring that code is error-free and meets quality assurance parameters.
Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
Coordinating with the team on daily project status and progress.
Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, tracing results to quality risk, and reporting to concerned stakeholders.
